Frequent Load Shedding in Dhaka
Frequent load shedding in the city and the suburbs has made our life miserable. Indiscriminate power-cut over wide areas for hours together has become a daily feature of our present day life. There is no area which is not affected by it daily. Houses, shops, factories, offices- all come under the staggering load shedding. The mills and factories are paralysed. Students and teachers are the worst sufferers. We are compelled to study in the dim candle light. We have learnt to cook and eat in darkness. How long will we have to suffer? The Government should take necessary measures to remove the problem of load shedding as early as possible. Yours truly,

ঢাকায় ঘন ঘন লোডশেডিং
শহর ও শহরতলিতে ঘন ঘন লোডশেডিং আমাদের জীবনকে দুর্বিষহ করে তুলেছে। বিস্তীর্ণ এলাকায় ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা নির্বিচারে বিদ্যুৎ সংযোগ আমাদের বর্তমান জীবনের দৈনন্দিন বৈশিষ্ট্যে পরিণত হয়েছে। এমন কোন এলাকা নেই যেখানে প্রতিদিন এর দ্বারা প্রভাবিত হয় না। বাড়িঘর, দোকানপাট, কলকারখানা, অফিস- সবই লোডশেডিংয়ের কবলে পড়ে। কল-কারখানা অচল হয়ে পড়েছে। এতে সবচেয়ে বেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা। আবছা মোমবাতির আলোয় আমরা পড়াশোনা করতে বাধ্য। আমরা অন্ধকারে রান্না করে খেতে শিখেছি। আর কতদিন আমাদের কষ্ট করতে হবে? সরকারকে যত তাড়াতাড়ি সম্ভব লোডশেডিং সমস্যা দূর করতে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নিতে হবে।
